Nadia is a writer, artist and professional public speaker. She serves as a creative and communication consultant for many dynamic people and organizations. A lively facilitator, she loves to engage in collaborative projects.
Born in Dublin, Ireland to a West Indian Father and Irish Mother, Nadia Ramoutar was raised on a steady diet of culture, literature, music, the arts, and natural beauty. She immigrated to Florida with her family as a teenager and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of North Florida and a Ph.D in Communications from the University of Florida. She has worked in media, newspapers, film, video and leadership roles extensively for the past 25 years as a writer, director, producer and executive. She was a college professor at Flagler College and also the Art Institute of Jacksonville, where two of her film students won Student Academy Awards for film. She is an active art advocate and creative professional who does not believe in the old paradigm of starving artists. Her philosophy is that if you do what you love with great love your work is sacred.
Anna Is a visual artist, painter, designer and an illustrator. After 20 years if college teaching experience and professional artistic practice Anna started illustrating books and collaborating with Nadia Ramoutar and Layla Neal in creating books.
Anna was born and grew up in Ukraine, but currently lives and works in the Northeast Florida metro area. Anna has been drawing since she was a child. When she was 12 years old, she entered a school for Fine Arts. After she graduated, she continued studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture of Ukraine. Settling in Jacksonville Florida, despite being very busy with now two children, husband, and work, Anna has found a new inspiration for painting and drawing. Abstract painting is dominating her work at this point. Anna has had several shows locally and taught workshops for groups of the local artists and enthusiasts. She had been a member of several local galleries in Jacksonville. She is currently a working and showing artist and a member of Cork Art Studios.
